Who can we Provide Essential Products to?

Qualified tradesmen who require products solely for the purpose of emergency repairs at residential homes or an entity engaged in the provision of essential services for any project related to the provision of water, electricity or other essential services.

The regulations state that trades necessary for rendering emergency repairs, including plumbers, electricians, locksmiths, glaziers and roof repairs, will be considered essential services. We may not sell any products to the general public.

What are the Products we can be provided?

Any products which are required for emergency repairs at residential homes or products required for any project related to the provision of water, electricity or other essential services.

Which documents must an Essential Service Provider present in order to purchase products?

A client should supply an essential service provider certificate and proof that the items being purchased are for emergency repair as part of an essential service. The customer will be required to complete a registration to comply with Covid-19 lockdown regulations.

What is Apple Tool & Gas Store safety regulations?

We ask that all customers please sanitize their hands when entering the store and adhered to keeping a safe distance of 2meters between customers.
Our staff is not legally required to wear masks or gloves in terms of the Regulations \(as amended\)
